Currently, Esme our 8 year old German Shepard rescue recently underwent emergency surgery to repair gastric torsion. She miraculously made it through the surgery and came home Monday evening and is resting and recovering at home comfortably.
Jake, another one of our medical fosters, will be having his stitches removed Friday!! Jake’s full story is posted on our Facebook page. Jake had to have surgery to repair his femur head that had been crushed. He was rescued from MCACC; as he was on the E-list unless he found a Medical Foster to keep him and nurse him back to health from his medical problem. We are elated to say that he has made a full recovery from his surgery and is an energetic and playful pup!!!
Hope, is another foster who was rescued from MCACC’s E-list. She was a stray that was found by a water treatment facility, she is currently recovering from Valley Fever. She is a very relaxed, cuddly and absolutely loving pup!
